×Show profile Hide profilePraxia Morkel, 46 years old and living in Thabazimbi has been in many various fields of the industry. My first field was Sales and Marketing of various products. As I have done a few courses of sales and marketing I enjoyed the challenge of the industry.
I started enjoying the serious side of the sales industry, technology.
It made sales sense.
I have had the privilege of working with the companies with likes of Grinel Communications, Avaya, Altech, Samsung and Orange in London to name a few. I have also worked in Botswana on the Jwaneng mines creating pax's and backbones with fibre and RF. I have done projects with the Department of Justice whereby all the networks had to upgraded to fibre links as well as the maintenance solutions. I also enjoyed the new technology of premicells and pico cells. UNISA's software upgrade was a great experience. I have also attended many courses whereby cabling and fibre was the subject.
I then entered the culinary industry of which it is very interesting and satisfying yet Sales and its magic still runs deep.
Throughout my career I have been privileged to gain knowledge from the old stable platforms and apply this whilst integrating into the new way. With my experience of marketing I also learned that the client needed to be understood before I could be understood.
