Niral Patel joined Oracle in July 2017 as Managing Director and Technology Leader for Oracle South Africa, bringing forth almost two decades of experience.

At Oracle South Africa, he is responsible for accelerating the adoption of Oracle Cloud solutions, identifying new growth opportunities and enhancing engagement with key stakeholders in South Africa. Patel is passionate about driving inclusive education and encouraging the youth to take up careers in Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) fields.

Patel joins from Hitachi Data Systems, South Africa where he was Managing Director, previously, Niral was Public Sector Director at Microsoft South Africa. Niral hails from IBM having held various roles over 10 years including Enterprise Software Leader, Software Group Africa Executive and Power Systems Sub Saharan Africa Business Lead.

Niral resides in the Johannesburg area, he has a B.Comm from WITS University and an MBA from Warwick University in the UK.
