Lauren Ratcliffe is a strategic human resources consultant at The Fresh Group. She has an extensive marketing and communications background, with a degree in Consumer Sciences from Stellenbosch University; a postgraduate diploma in Marketing and Advertising; and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from UCT's Graduate School of Business (which she completed at the London Business School in the United Kingdom).

Complementing this academic background, she has a wealth of experience working in both large and small advertising and marketing agencies, as well as working on the client side as Head of Marketing at a global not-for-profit organisation. Throughout her career she has always focused strongly on the development of the people in her team and it was through realising this passion, and completing a year-long accredited Executive Leadership Coaching programme in London, that she transitioned from the world of marketing communications, to working exclusively in People Development. She is extremely passionate and enthusiastic about communicating effectively with people, and empowering them to communicate even more effectively themselves. Having been through a personal change process herself, she is an avid believer in looking inwards to achieve great change outwards.
