I have worked in different roles within the insurance industry, for Discovery Health and VitalityLife over the last 9 years. I contributed to process improvement, in relation to the Customer Experience and Service Delivery.
I have over 4 years' experience as a Senior Consultant (CRM), where I handle complex Complaints regarding products and services as well as complaints addressed to Business Executives. I served as a Data Protection Champion in the Complaints team (CRU) to ensure that my team is informed about the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) legislated according to the European Standards.
I worked with internal stakeholders that include Risk and Compliance, Data Protection, Marketing, Finance, Actuaries, Vitality UK, Social Media, other internal departments, as well as external stakeholders, which are direct customers and financial advisers.
I won the Annual Discovery Star Award in 2018, comprising of a trip to India in recognition of Service Excellence and Performance. I received two invitations in 2002 and 2003 consecutively to attend the Global Young Leaders' conference in Washington DC. I received three top 10% performer awards in three consecutive quarters in the Claims Capture department at Discovery Health.
I am a Coach and Mentor for the learners in my space who assist us through the Discovery Learnership program. I am constantly involved in the development of new team members (Liberating the best in our people) and completing my Certificate in Learning and Development through VeryCoolIdeas. In addition to a BA in International Relations and Diplomacy through UNISA, currently on the third level.
I have a proactive approach to life. My morals, principles and business ethics are related to those of the the company values. I would appreciate an opportunity to use my existing skillset while expanding my existing knowledge and acquired expertise by serving as a member of your team.
