- Conducting research, analysis and data collection on key national/regional developmental issues and trends, particularly with regards to macroeconomic variables, regional and market integration, green growth and climate change, infrastructure, energy and renewable energy, industrial development, trade facilitation, small-scale traders and poverty reduction.
- Writing coherent economic and technical reports and studies on topics important for Africa's development, especially in the field of regional integration, energy (including renewables), carbon footprinting, trade facilitation and other aspects of economic development.
- Compiling a study on the characteristics, needs, potentials, obstacles and solutions to the energy sector in the COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite region.
- Managing and assisting a team of consulting firms to estimate the life-cycle carbon footprint of North-South Corridor roads (i.e. over construction, operations, maintenance and rehabilitation).
- Managing and assisting a team of consultants to determine nationally appropriate climate mitigation and adaptation actions, financing mechanisms and policy environment relevant to the regional roads and rail sector.
- Developing of a theory of change for our organisation and regional interventions with confirming evidence.
