Show profile Hide profileI am a honest all-rounder, a no-nonsense, hardworking, hands-on, dedicated, go-getter, people's kind of person, continuously seeking opportunities to improve and develop myself, to achieve my goals, that of my department, and the employer. I constantly look for opportunities in my area of responsibility, including other environments around me, to improve standards and services and to improve the work environment, not alone for a more rewarding experience for guests and public, but also to the advantage of employees. It is my experience and believe that a healthy work environment leads to positive staff with high moral, and they produce happy guests/customers that have a positive impact on revenues.
Whatever the industry might be, my motto is "Always to be optimistic, work as a team and achieve more!" I have developed my communication skills through the jobs which I have undertaken, allowing me to convey, mediate and negotiate issues. I greatly believe and promote the implementation of fresh strategies for development and training of employees.
Currently employed as Operations Manager by HPI Health Profile Institute I am required and responsible for the development and implementation of organizational strategies, policies, practices, skills and standards, including health and safety policy and procedure, as required by the board of Directors.
I find my present position most rewarding and challenging but still hold a deep passion for the hospitality industry. With the skills and knowledge gained throughout my years in the hospitality industry I feel that I would be a valuable team member and leader. With an ever growing hospitality sector in South Africa it is important to have staff who are flexible, knowledgeable and accountable.
I am someone that possesses the knowledge and understanding of operational requirements to deliver and produce optimum results and meet imminent deadlines through motivation and team work.
