Macadamia processor and marketer Green Farms Nut Company (GFNC) has made two new additions to its senior leadership team. Allen Duncan from JSE listed agribusiness Crookes Brothers comes onboard as GFNC's new CEO, while Tzamac's Graeme Taylor joins as COO.
Duncan has international experience of 20 years at executive level; from listed agribusinesses to running his own farming operation. He also has deep sector knowledge and strong relationships with macadamia farmers across South Africa and customers around the globe.
Taylor is also a well-known persona in the sector and is strongly placed for the position given his current responsibility for procurement, processing, and marketing for Tzamac factory in Tzaneen, Limpopo, along with his demonstrable project management skills in former roles at international retailer Woolworths.
Both roles will commence on 1 January 2019.
