Tommaso Volpe is Nissan global motorsports' new director
Nissan has appointed Tommaso Volpe as its new global motorsports director, effective 1 April. Volpe will take over from Michael Carcamo and will be tasked with overseeing Nissan's Formula E, Super GT, Prototype and global GT3 racing activities.
Volpe will bring in his extensive motorsports experience to Nissan having been the director of global motorsports and performance projects at Infiniti Motor Company Ltd since 2014. The outgoing motorsports director Carcamo will be elevated to the program director role where he will be responsible for the future development of Nissan's sports cars.
