Differently to most of the world, every medium is still growing in Africa: internet, TV, radio, out of home, as well as print in some regions. Sub-Saharan advertising to GDP ratio is still very low at 0.15%, but there are immense opportunities for growth due to expanding middles class, urbanisation and mobile first technology.

Turn Left Media have been granted exclusive representation of International Data Group's product portfolio across South Africa, as well as the greater Sub-Saharan African region. Overall, IDG delivers over a million unique visitors per month, and has access to around 2.5 million opt-in subscribers across Sub-Saharan Africa.

US-based real estate entrepreneur Rokelle Sun's philanthropic mission is to encourage young girls to pursue careers and success in the underrepresented fields, particularly in Africa, where she spent part of her childhood. She explains this, as well as her love of new experiences like aerophotography, and some of the highs and lows of her earlier career as a multilingual broadcast journalist.
