MPASA appoints new manager
Sandy Goulding has been appointed manager of the Magazine Publishers Association SA (MPASA), effective 1 March 2006. A high school teacher, Goulding's love of the written word lured her into the publishing arena. Her experience spans the roles of freelance writer (consumer, educational and technical) editor and managing editor. She has worked for Heinneman Publishers, Penta Publications, AngloGold and Gauteng Tourism Authority; studied at Wits Business School; and implemented the national skills strategy in the tourism sector. An 'in principle' decision to return to the publishing arena, taken in October 2005, saw to her taking up her current role with MPASA.
