Denel affirms cash dilemma
Denel has confirmed its cash crisis and acknowledged that it was defaulting on supplier payments and 13th cheques to its employees.
Denel CEO Zwalekhe Ntshepe has stated in a meeting with organised labour that the company is involved with stakeholders and the government to avoid a situation of delayed salary payments for December 2017.
UASA brought forth the news of the controversy after frustrated Denel workers informed the union of their predicament. UASA demands that Denel finds the money to pay its workers' bonuses.
