The CorporateWire Prestige Awards celebrates small and medium-sized enterprises consisting of localised businesses and sole traders that have thrived in their highly competitive community and have proven their success during the past 12 months.

“This is a major feather in our cap, and we are extremely honoured to have been acknowledged by the international Prestige Awards,” commented Idan Jaan, co-founder of Fundrr.

Accessing (working) capital

Since inception in June 2018, the company has provided funding to many businesses through an online channel that allows business owners instant access to (working) capital. These businesses are predominantly within the food, retail, tourism, manufacturing, supermarkets, automotive, medical, health, beauty, accounting, entertainment, childcare and construction industries. In August of this year, Fundrr also ventured into a partnership with Telkom Financial Services, providing working capital to its growing list of services.

Said Prestige Awards project manager Rocky Singh, “The Prestige Awards affords us the opportunity to recognise businesses that provide a personal approach towards their customers to maintain a high-quality level of service and experience.

“Winners were chosen on marketing and branding, business growth methods, customer experience, and approach to new ideas. The awards also allows businesses to celebrate their achievements within the business community throughout their region.”

Fundrr will be officially recognised by the CorporateLiveWire South African Prestige Awards in February 2020 in London.
