Project Build has been constructing educational buildings in KwaZulu-Natal for 30 years, and has completed 5,300 classrooms to date. "Our annual Paint a Classroom Mandela Day initiative is a great way to rise up and meet the expectations of our first president, Nelson Mandela, who was passionate about education and social upliftment," explained Suzanne Edmunds, Project Build chief executive officer. "We have enjoyed great support from corporates and friends over the past few years and we look forward to more support this year."

Corporates and interested parties are invited to register at a cost of R4,500 per team of eight. Commencing at 8:30am on the day, each team will be assigned to a classroom and the Project Build technical team will be on site to co-ordinate all painting and repairs. "We will supply everything that you will need including hardhats, paint, brushes, T-shirts, refreshments and technical supervision," said Edmunds.
