The Maslow Hotel voted best business hotel for third time in a row
Launched in 2012 by BTA Magazine, the awards recognise excellence in the African business travel trade. The criteria for the awards include all aspects of business travel such as hotels, airlines, car rental and travel management. They also encompass related categories such as travel credit providers, foreign exchange, visas, private aviation and conferencing.
Dylan Rogers, editor of Business Traveller Africa magazine said this year’s voting survey went out to over 1,700 ASATA-registered travel agents and 500 ABTA-registered corporate travel buyers. The response was massive, with over 2,000 industry professionals nominating the best in the business.
Meeting all needs
Named after Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs – this urban sanctuary is known for its meticulous attention to the needs of its worldly guests. The hotel is equipped with award-winning conference and meeting room facilities, available in different sizes and seating configurations. Guests are able to choose from a range of options suited to any need – whether it be sharing results, training, workshops or negotiating contracts. The main conference room can also host banquets for up to 350 people and cinema seating for 400 people. There is a comfortable reception area outside of The Maslow’s meeting rooms, where business guests will be welcomed, seated and offered refreshments while they wait.

The Lacuna Bistro and Bar are perfect for business lunches and after-work drinks, with gardens and terraces overlooking the swimming pool. For a quiet day or night in, the hotel boasts 24-hour room service, so you can order a snack or meal at any time, along with rooms that have black-out curtains for peaceful working at any hour. The hotel also has an in-house gym and leading natural, eco-friendly and holistic spa to cater to the urban traveler’s need for burning off steam and relaxation.
