Provincial corruption in South Africa remains widespread as 520 government employees in KwaZulu-Natal have been convicted of embezzling R28,7-million from taxpayers, reports Business Live.
Business Live quotes KwaZulu-Natal Premier, Zweli Mkhize as saying that 517 cases have been referred to the courts although 527 employees were arrested. Only R727 838 has been recovered so far.
