Gertenbach appointed managing partner of PKF Durban

Having recognised that he wanted to embrace the opportunity to work with people at all levels in his earlier years, he was drawn to the versatility of a B.Comm and Dip Acct qualification from the University of Natal in Pietermartizburg.

Upon attaining his degrees in 1985, Gertenbach's journey into the auditing and accounting industry began at PWC in 1986, where he completed his articles before joining SARS in 1987. In 1990 he moved back into profession when he joined PKF.

Involved in JSE listing

To date, his greatest professional achievements include being made a partner of PKF Durban and his involvement in the listing of a client on the JSE.

His strengths lie in the auditing and corporate restructuring side, which is where he specialises.
