The deadline for late online applications is 30 November 2016.
The department said this in an effort to plan and procure school materials such as books, stationery, desks and chairs, in accordance with the total number of learners in the system.
“The department will not be processing any admissions in January, as teaching and learning will commence on the first day of schooling.”
