3 local projects in contention for ArchDaily's Building of the Year Awards

Residential apartment block, Axis; art museum, Norval Foundation; and the V&A Waterfront's urban park, Battery Park are all up for nomination in ArchDaily's 2020 Building of the Year Awards. All three are projects of local architecture firm, dhk Architects.

Currently in its 11th consecutive year, the competition recognises and rewards the best architectural projects in each respective category. The public has until 10 February 2020 to nominate their favourite designs following which the results will be tallied and the five projects with the most nominations per category move onto the voting stage.

From 10-17 February, again the public will have the opportunity to vote, however this time it will be to select the winners in each category. Over 4,000 projects will be narrowed down to 15 with the winners being announced on 17 February.
