The Mountain Between Us is a sweeping tale of love and survival, a student relives the day of her murder over and over again in Happy Death Day, a worldwide Geostorm wipes out everything and everyone along with it, Madea and the gang are back for the hilarious Boo 2! A Madea Halloween, a and a 14-year-old girl dreams of becoming a singer in the Indian musical drama Secret Superstar.

The Mountain Between Us

After an incoming storm forces the cancellation of her flight to New York, talented photojournalist Alex Martin (Kate Winslet) finds herself stuck in Idaho the night before her wedding. Scrambling to make it home in time, she hits upon a longshot idea and charters a plane to Denver in the hopes of catching the red-eye to New York that same night. Another stranded passenger, Ben Bass (Idris Elba), a skilled British neurosurgeon due back on the East Coast to perform a critical, life-saving operation, tunes out his own misgivings about the plan and joins her.

This sweeping tale of love and survival is directed by Hany Abu-Assad and written by Chris Weitz and J. Mills Goodloe, based on the novel of the same name by Charles Martin.

Happy Death Day

In this original and inventive rewinding thriller, college student Tree Gelbman (Jessica Rothe) relives the day of her murder with both its unexceptional details and terrifying end until she discovers her killer’s identity.

Directed by Christopher Landon (Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones) from a screenplay by Scott Lobdell, an award-winning comic book writer most famous for his nearly decade-long run on Marvel’s Uncanny X-Men.


After an unprecedented series of natural disasters threatened the planet, the world’s leaders came together to create an intricate network of satellites to control the global climate and keep everyone safe. But now, something has gone wrong - the system built to protect the Earth is attacking it, and it’s a race against the clock to uncover the real threat before a worldwide geostorm wipes out everything and everyone along with it.

Dean Devlin (the writer/producer of Independence Day) makes his feature film directorial debut with suspense thriller, from a screenplay by Devlin and Paul Guyot.

Boo 2! A Madea Halloween

Madea and the gang are back in this hilarious sequel. Madea, Bam and Hattie venture to a haunted campground and the group must literally run for their lives when monsters, goblins and the bogeyman are unleashed.

Written, co-produced, directed, and acted by Tyler Perry; it is the tenth film in the Madea series.

Secret Superstar

Secret Superstar traces the journey of Insia, a 14-year-old girl from Vadodara, whose dream of becoming a singer changes her life and of everyone around her.

The Indian musical drama is written and directed by Advait Chandan.

South African Horrorfest

The South African Horrorfest is celebrating its 13th annual edition from 25 October-3 November 2017 at the Labia Theatre in Cape Town. The 10-day Halloween film festival will screen short and feature-length films from around the world, most of which will be making their African/South African premiere.
