Shot three times with one of Pistorius' own handguns, Steenkamp's Valentine's Day death stunned the world. Pistorius has pleaded not guilty, claiming the shooting was an accident, as he mistook her for a burglar. The case has left many asking, was this a terrible accident, or something more sinister?

Filmed in South Africa, this hour-long documentary digs deeper into the case by bringing viewers new interviews, fresh information and exclusive insights from some of the friends and family of Pistorius and Steenkamp, as well as those close to the case.

Inside Steenkamp's bedroom

"Since news broke of this tragic event, the entire world has been speculating about what actually happened that Valentine's morning. The appetite for further knowledge about the case is still incredibly strong - especially here in South Africa where the story is still headline news. This documentary will give Discovery Channel viewers a bit more information about the case and their national hero's dramatic reversal of fortune," says Lee Hobbs, channel director, emerging business, Discovery Networks CEEMEA.

Viewers are taken inside Steenkamp's bedroom by her best friend, who speaks of their friendship. Her ex-boyfriend, who met her for a coffee the day before she died is interviewed, and Discovery speaks to close friends of Pistorius who share their stories about the man they knew and his current state since he was released on bail.
