This is the third consecutive year that Chris has been invited back to perform in theatres across the Netherlands, a tour organised by Kik Productions and the first year that he makes his Belgian stage debut in a theatre tour organised by Cultura vof.
Of this year's tour, Chris said: “It's exciting to still be able to present myself to so many new audiences after so many years in Europe. I haven't been in most of these theatres and this is a good example of how large the scene in those countries is compared to what we enjoy in South Africa. Every year I add a few more skills to my bag of tricks and I can't wait to let the monkey loose on the Dutch and Belgian audiences. They are a rather discerning bunch of theatre-goers and generally I take their response as a good indicator of the effectiveness of my performance innovations.”
