Coda unites Cape Town
MC Ferdinand Rabie warmed up the crowds before introducing singer / song -writer Verity who performed with her band, The Shades. Like CODA, Verity's music celebrates positive newness in Africa and she set the tone for the evening with perfection. Given Phike, who's hit single ‘Feel', is currently being play-listed across the nation, performed his song to a very appreciative audience.

In true CODA-style, the band had the crowd eating of their hands from the word go. CODA delivered their hit songs (and some new repertoire) dressed to kill and with the infectious energy that has won them a loyal following over the years.
The evening was packed with surprises including a Diski Dance demonstration to CODA's song Blow Your Vuvuzela, which has become Cape Town's unofficial anthem to the World Cup. Audience members who braved the rather complicated dance routine won generous prizes provided by Cape Town Tourism.
The VIP area was provided by Don Julio Tequila. Other sponsors include Wembley Square, Sinns Restaurant, Salushi Restaurant and Cape Town Tourism.
