Professor Noakes moves from dieting to debating

Professor Noakes will start the Old Mutual Health Convention by challenging other medical professionals and his critics, who have been very active in the press, on the subject of the low carb lifestyle in a public debate.

The convention, running from 19-22 February 2015 at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, has, amongst others, the worlds' leading experts in the low carb lifestyle coming together to discuss the widespread increase of both obesity and diabetes and how our traditional view on a low fat diet has influenced this.

The 16 experts who are traveling, mostly at their own expense, will speak on a range of topics from cardiology to child psychology. They include Gary Taubes, Dr Andreas Eenfeldt, Dr Eric Westman, Christine Cronau, Dr Ann Childers, Jimmy Moore, Dr Jason Fung and Dr Robert Cywes.
