Final DJ line-up for Fireman's Ball announced
The Fireman's Ball, which will be held at The Warehouse super-club complex, Ferndale, Johannesburg on Saturday, 2 October, 2010, has announced the final DJ line-up, which will include international jockeys.
Twelve DJs will add fuel to the three floors of dance floor fire. As well as the line-up of 5FM and other top local DJs already announced, Red Richard from the US will be joining the action, along with the "world's strongest DJ", Mark Stent; Kevin Grenfell (best known for his own signature "House Anthems" compilations, as well as various stints on 5FM); and, Marius Martise (who was first introduced as a very popular fixture on DJ Fresh's Ultimix @ 6 on 5FM).
New Urban Floor
For the first time, the 2010 Fireman's Ball will also be introducing a specialised Urban Floor - headlined by Poppy from 5FM along with C-Live (presenter of 5FM's Power Nite of Hip Hop on Monday nights 10pm to midnight) and Dizzy (a legend in his own right, after decades of serving time in the local dance industry, who is busy working on a special deep house-set for the ball).
They will join Roger Goode (5FM), Sasha Martinengo (5FM), Grant Nash (5FM), Stuart Hillary (Discotec) and Morne from Groove Element.
