On 29 August 2009 funny man and renowned comedian, David Kau brings his one-man act So You Think You David Kau to Mmabatho Palms. In celebration of this event the resort will run a “So You Think You David Kau Promotion” in the month of August, in which patrons stand the chance of winning tickets that will have them experience the show in true VIP style. Fifty points, earned by playing slots, being dealt a jack of clubs, jack of spades, or placing a straight-up winning bet on numbers 29 and 8 on roulette will give patrons the chance to attend the weekly draws with their earned tickets. The Mmabatho Palms Prawn Festival lets prawn lovers devour prawns to their heart's content every Monday in August for only R125 per person and R100 per person for Winner Circle members.
