    Mmabatho Palms events this August

    Peermont's Mmabatho Palms Hotel, Casino and Convention Resort have a sizzling entertainment line-up this August that is guaranteed to keep North West residents, and visitors from around the country, entertained around the clock.     With the month of August being dedicated to the celebration of women and their achievements, Mmabatho Palms will be hosting a special Women's Day lunch at the new newly refurbished Motswedi Terrace Restaurant and Bar on Sunday, 9 August 2009.     So You Think You David Kau

    On 29 August 2009 funny man and renowned comedian, David Kau brings his one-man act So You Think You David Kau to Mmabatho Palms. In celebration of this event the resort will run a “So You Think You David Kau Promotion” in the month of August, in which patrons stand the chance of winning tickets that will have them experience the show in true VIP style. Fifty points, earned by playing slots, being dealt a jack of clubs, jack of spades, or placing a straight-up winning bet on numbers 29 and 8 on roulette will give patrons the chance to attend the weekly draws with their earned tickets. Diners also have the chance of winning tickets to watch David Kau live by simply spending R100 or more in the Motswedi Terrace Restaurant.     It's Fiesta time!

    With winter still holding on for dear life, the month of August brings with it a range of hot food festivals that are guaranteed to warm up any winter night. The Mmabatho Palms Prawn Festival lets prawn lovers devour prawns to their heart's content every Monday in August for only R125 per person and R100 per person for Winner Circle members. Saturday nights are Mexican nights at the resort, where patrons can enjoy a delicious Mexican Fiesta buffet for R125 per person and R100 for Winner Circle members. Mexican treats like nachos, salsa verde and a special carvery are on the menu. In addition patrons stand the chance of winning a Mexican Fiesta Hamper by simply completing the entry form on arrival.
