"We are excited that the Grand Arena has been chosen as the new home for Africa's biggest extreme sports events, Ultimate X. Boasting state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment, there is no more fitting venue for an action-packed, indoor extreme sports event in Cape Town than the Grand Arena.

"We look forward to hosting the athletes and spectators for two days of thrilling stunts and effects," said Elouise Matthys, the PR Manager of GrandWest.

A host of added disciplines

Ultimate X will feature a host of added disciplines, including MX and MTB biking trials, blading and supadrift. As with previous years, Ultimate X will have a host of international superstars in each discipline, two of the major names being Maxime Charveron from France and Louis Taubert from Germany.

The 2015 artist entertainment line-up will include bands and DJs who will take to the stage, bringing the crowd legendary performances at the event as well as at the after party.

Doors open at 6pm and close at 10pm. Pre-purchased tickets are available at Computicket ranging from R150 to R250. Limited VIP Early-bird tickets are still available at R150 for a weekend pass. Tickets will also be made available at the gate and food and full bar services will be available with ample parking.
