New team for Kalk Bay Theatre Restaurant

With a new team in place at the Kalk Bay Theatre Restaurant, guests at Kalk Bay Theatre can now linger longer and enjoy an elegant but relaxed evening of top-class dinner and theatre, with dessert and coffee after the show.

A new set menu has been designed under the direction of talented chef Hannah McMahon, providing guests with the choice of a delicious two- or three-course meal, including the post-performance opportunity to meet and chat to cast members.

"We are going back to our roots and encouraging visitors to make an evening of it, staying after the show to meet the performers and chat to friends over coffee and dessert," says owner Simon Cooper. "The intimate nature of Kalk Bay Theatre creates a truly unique dinner-theatre experience and the outstanding quality of the food on our plates matches the outstanding quality of the performance on our stage."

Menu changes from show to show

The seasonal set menu changes from show to show, offering regular theatre-goers an exciting range of different options. At TheatreSports on Tuesday evenings and selected performances, patrons have the option of a home-made burger with fries and special secret sauce, while on Sunday nights, a delicious cheese selection and a glass of wine is available.

"We want to present a relaxed but stylish, seamless dinner-theatre experience, with fabulous food, great quality wines and impeccable service to accompany the excellent productions at Kalk Bay Theatre," says chef Hannah McMahon.
