Short & Sweet in Cape Town
Short & Sweet, a selection of the finest short films, music videos and short animations from around the world, is back for Season 2 at the Wunderbar Theatre. It features eight to 10 cinematic hors d'oeuvres per night, every Tuesday evening for a six-week period.
Cape Town's only weekly short film evening features world premieres, live introductions, spot prizes and ambience provided by swing and 1950s-infused beats.
The Season 2 premiere takes place Tuesday 31 July, 2012 at the Wunderbar Theatre, Hope Street (old German club). Arrive early to enjoy two fully stocked bars, tasty morsels for sale, and popcorn. There's plenty of seating and ample parking.
Event sponsors include Stolichnaya vodka, el Jimador tequila, Jack Daniel's Honey, and Cutty Sark whisky and weekly specials on all brands will flow in abundance.
Doors open at 6pm; films begin 7.30pm sharp.
Tickets are R25 each or R150 for the full season and can be bought at the door or online via Webtickets.
