Revive Skin Lounge wins WP Retailer of the Year
The award is a coveted one which focuses on retailers and service providers who have provided exceptional levels of service and also contribute positively towards South Africa's shopping centre industry. Independent retailers from malls across the Western Cape compete against each other. The award is not industry specific and any shop owned by either a single owner or a partnership can compete.
Continuous good service a prerequisite
During the judging period, stores are judged by a multitude of independent judges who visit the store for a minimum of 10 times. This is to ensure that good service wasn't merely a once off experience, but that it forms part of a consistently high standard of practice at all times.
Karina Els, managing director at Revive Skin Lounge, says that the award proved to her that teamwork goes a long way and when everyone works together great things can be achieved. "On the other hand", she says, "if one person does not pull his or her weight, then everyone else suffers as a result."
She feels that the award is a direct result of her staff's unity and dedicated work. "The company's success is a direct result of the passion of all those involved in the business. The victory reflects this passion as well as the importance we place on our clients' satisfaction," says Els.
