Monique Cruden, who holds extensive knowledge in both the local and international recruitment industry, will spearhead the new logistics division for Communicate Personnel, located in Bruma, Johannesburg.
The group announced on 8 February 2010, that its new division would source and place suitably qualified people within the niche logistics & freight industry, through an understanding of its clients' unique organisational cultures and values, expanding on the success of the existing Durban logistics branch, which has been operational for the past five years. It will perform all of the functions currently offered by the KwaZulu-Natal branch. Currently, logistics positions mainly comprise sales executives, operational personnel and senior management.
Cruden will be responsible for the successful conceptualisation and implementation of a number of key initiatives aimed at contributing to the group's prevailing professional image.
“The company strives to set high standards and provide quality service across all four of its niche divisions, including IT, finance, engineering, as well as freight & logistics,” says Shelley Ball, MD for Gauteng and Durban. “The creation of the new division will enhance our service offerings and enable the group to capitalise on the opportunity to introduce the brand to a new market segment within the greater Gauteng region.”
