IMG Media renews contract with Sport 24

The extended agreement, which runs through to the end of the 2016 season, will include even more content than before as alongside every race being shown live, there will also be the option to feature practice and qualifying rounds from each Grand Prix.
"We are delighted to have renewed our deal with Formula One management for the next three F1 seasons and are particularly pleased that we will now be able to show each Grand Prix in its entirety should the schedules allow," Richard Wise, senior vice-president at IMG Media said.
More premium content
"This is excellent news for F1 fans as it ensures they will be able to watch more premium content of their sport when they are travelling, be it by air or at sea. With other new content deals in place for 2014 and more major airlines due to trial the channel before the end of the year, this is an exciting time for Sport 24."
Other live action to be shown during 2014 on Sport 24 includes coverage from the Barclays Premier League, all four golf majors and all four tennis Grand Slams, as well as the ATP 1000 events and finals, the Bundesliga and the Giro d'Italia.
