Dr Musa Gumede holds a Medical Degree from the University of Natal, South Africa since 1994. Apart from this, he also has many other academic accolades namely, Leadership and Development, Economic and Financial Management and Project Management.

Hennie Heymans joined DHL Express fourteen years ago as MD for Central Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands (CENIO). He then moved on to become MD for DHL Express South Africa where he was instrumental in driving change and implementing new innovative processes and strategies for the ZA business division.

Carol Vosloo started her ‘sporting career’ as events coordinator at Eastern Province Cricket. Since then she has gained a wealth of experience in the sporting world. As a partner and director of a sports marketing consultancy in Johannesburg, she has managed and executed events such as the Nedbank Golf Challenge and both national and international cricket, rugby and soccer events.

Kamilla Swart’s research interests include sport and event tourism, with a specific focus on mega-events and event policies, strategies and evaluations. Kamilla has published on varied topics related to the bidding and impacts of sport tourism events in South Africa.
