The team believes those committing to being featured in the 2010 calendar and the project DVD are taking a public step that will touch their lives and forever change their experience of cancer.
All the proceeds raised from the sale of these calendars goes to the Moments in Time Trust; a public benefit organistaion (PBO) set up with the sole mandate of disbursing funds to needy cancer patients. The trust supports underprivileged South African cancer patients who are not able to afford related costs such as transport, toiletries, vitamin supplements and good nutritional food during their treatment.
The calendar ambassadors play a role in raising funds for the trust - not only by being featured in the calendars but by becoming a mouth piece promoting the project through media interviews and public speaking arrangements. The 12 featured Moments in Time project representatives also have an obligation to endorse the project with honour and gusto and to live the philosophy of the project and all it stands for.
Moments in Time 2010 Calendar applicants must be have been diagnosed cancer.
All Moments in Time ambassadors will be required to perform a limited number of engagements during the course of 2009 and 2010.
When nominating yourself or someone you know for inclusion in the 2010 calendar you will need to send:
1 x completed application form
1 x close up head and shoulders portrait photo - preferably in colour
