Become a moment in time

It's that time of year when 13 South African's living with cancer are selected and appointed as ambassadors of the Moments in Time for the year ahead.
Become a moment in time

The team behind the Moments in Time initiative is looking for audacious, distinctive and spirited people dedicated to conquering cancer with grace and authenticity to be featured in the 2013 calendar and the project DVD (all produced and launched in 2012).

All the proceeds raised from the sale of these calendars goes to the Moments in Time Trust; a public benefit organistaion (PBO) set up with the sole mandate of disbursing funds to needy cancer patients. The Trust supports many underprivileged South African cancer patients who are not able to afford related costs such as transport, toiletries, vitamin supplements and good nutritional food during their treatment. The calendar ambassadors play an integral role in raising funds for the trust - not only by being featured in the calendars but by becoming a mouth piece that helps promote the project through media interviews and public speaking arrangements. The 12 featured Moments in Time project representatives also have an obligation to endorse the project with honour and gusto and to live the philosophy of the project and all it stands for.

Moments in Time 2013 Calendar applicants must be have been diagnosed with cancer. All Moments in Time ambassadors will be required to perform a limited number of engagements during the course of 2012 and 2013.

All nominations should be submitted via email to: az.oc.mocsyasnomis@nimda by Monday, 5 March 2012. Send full name, contact details and a 1 x close up head portrait.
