    The Loeries Awards finalists have been announced for the following categories: Creative Awards, Corporate Events, Corporate Film, Design, Digital, Direct and Effectiveness and Promotional Marketing. There are 655 finalists from over 3500 entries.

    The following finalists must still be released: Mixed media; Sponsorship and CSI; Africa. All the Loeries finalists are up on the official Loeries website, www.loeriefestival.com.

    The 26-year old Loeries is internationally recognised as the premier awards programme for advertising creativity in Africa. The Loerie Awards comprises four awards programmes at Sun City, 1 - 3 October 2004:

  • Loerie Advertising celebrates great creative advertising in the traditional above the line media (Television, Cinema, Radio, Print, Outdoor, Posters). Entries may be entered for single advertisements, campaigns, as well as Craft and Student entries. Entries are judged primarily on creative excellence.

  • Loerie Design and Integrated recognises award winning work in Design, Digital, Promotional Marketing, Corporate Events, and Corporate Film, Sponsorship and Corporate Social Investment programmes. Entries are judged primarily on creative excellence.

  • Loerie Direct and Effectiveness rewards advertising and marketing programmes that can demonstrate measurable results, with great strategy, execution and creativity. This award includes CRM, ERM, Loyalty, Sponsorship and Corporate Social Investment programmes. Entries are judged on a combination of Strategy, Creativity and Results.

  • The Marketing Excellence Award acknowledges the people behind the work recognised in the other three awards. The coveted Marketer of the Year Award will be bestowed here, as well as: Advertiser of the Year; Agency of the Year; Design and Integrated Marketer of the year; Direct Marketer of the Year; mfsa Fellow; and Marketing Organisation of the Year.
