      CMT seeks to employ a suitably qualified and experienced data quality officer (DQO) to be based in GP, Tshwane. The position would suit somebody who resides in Tshwane. The DQO will report to the DREAMS M and E manager. Salary commensurate with experience. The primary purpose of this position is to provide efficient data management support for the implementation of monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities.

      Job description (may include but is not limited to):
      • Data management and reporting.
      • Data Publication.
      • Training, mentoring and coaching of data capturers and field staff.
      • Conduct on site data verification visits and data quality audits.
      • Ensure that the correct source documents and tools are used.
      • Monitor compliance to data quality improvement plan.
      • Ensure that the security of all data is maintained, and confidentiality of participants is protected.
      • Assist in the management of data electronically on the provided system.
      • Assist in the extraction of data from the database for purposes of analysis.
      • Determine the most effective work procedures and methods to achieve the organisational goals.
      • Attend Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly meetings for the project.
      • Assist with preparation of reports, presentations, and publications of findings.
      Skills
      • A first degree or diploma in data analysis.
      • A minimum of five years of relevant professional experience in monitoring and evaluation.
      • Three years operational experience in data systems.
      • Two years' experience working on monitoring, evaluation and reporting in PEPFAR funded projects;
      • Two years' experience in HIV and AIDS or Public Health field.
      • Two years' experience in data verification / quality assurance.
      • Two to three years' experience implementing data intensive programs and designing monitoring and evaluation tools.
      • Computer Literacy - advanced level in MS Excel, MS Access and MS Word.
      • Technical, professional knowledge and expertise.
      • Possess a valid driver’s licence with minimum two years driving experience and able to drive.
      • Knowledge of data management, report writing and data collection.
      • Excellent communication and writing skills.
      • Leadership skills - self driven and motivated personality.
      • Demonstrated ability to train others on Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting.
      • Fluency in English.
      • Valid South African ID
