Job description
A Graphic Designer is responsible for the entire process of defining digital and visual requirements: visualizing, creating graphics and artwork, including, but not limited to, illustrations, layouts, logos and photos, in line with the brand CI. A Content Creator produces entertaining or educational material and are responsible for the contribution of information to any media, that is in line with the brand CI. They create both digital media and offline content that caters to the interests of a target audience.
• Produce high-quality multimedia content including images, videos, and infographics
• Incorporate, manage and execute brand CI at all times, to represent brand accordingly
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop content strategies that align with business goals
• Monitor content calendars to ensure timely delivery of content
• Monitor and analyse the performance of content and adjust strategies as needed
• Collaborate with other departments such as design and product development to ensure content is aligned with brand standards and product offerings
• Stay up-to-date with digital media technologies and trends and incorporate them into content strategies and tactics
• Act and implement change immediately to achieve optimal output of content, due to changes in delivery dates, stock availability, change in marketing plan, but not limited to these factors, etc.
• Assist with creating content for new product, new categories, and blog topics relevant to the Brand, season, and top SEO keywords, to boost the Brand’s visibility
• Assist with possible, occasional studio photography and editing thereof according to the schedule provided by Studio Manager
• Assist with possible, occasional posting and scheduling of social content and ads, as well as newsletters according to marketing calendar.
• Establish and maintain record-keeping and reporting systems for all current, past and future campaigns
• Maintain strong relationships and open lines of communication with relevant teams internally
Requirements
• Good understanding of Adobe Design programs, as well as sound knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office, Outlook, and any other programmes needed to perform daily tasks and content creation
• Good understanding and knowledge of retail environment and its driving factors
• Extensive attention to detail and ability to practice clear judgment and decision making
• Stay ahead with research on industry-related topics and trends
• Create various content types (such as videos, articles, infographics) with relevant tone and style, adhering to the respective brand CI
• Utilize various digital publishing platforms to create structured drafts to present to the Marketing team
• Target content to specific audiences, determined by brand CI, and focus on trending and relevant topics
• Incorporate blog and social media posts in both websites and social media platforms
• Strong organizational, communication, administrative and self-management skills
• Basic knowledge of styling and merchandising of product for optimal design use
• Artistic and innovative ability to find relevant strategies and solutions
• Proactive and self-starter mentality and work ethic
• Accept, process and actively implement feedback and changes in constructive manner
• Manage own disruptive emotions (handle stress in ways that do not negatively impact others)
