We are seeking a skilled intermediate Cloud engineer to join our client's dynamic team in Durban, Kwa-Zulu Natal. This is a permanent opportunity with a hybrid work model, available for an immediate start.

Key responsibilities:

• Designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure using Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Openshift, Linux, and Red Hat technologies.
• Implementing automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines) to facilitate efficient cloud operations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of cloud solutions.
• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

Required skills and experience:

• Two-plus years of hands-on experience in Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Openshift, Linux, and Red Hat technologies.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) would be a plus.
