Atterbury completes 6,000m² office development in Castle Gate precinct

New fully-let office development in Castle Gate precinct

The gym, which opened mid-February, occupies one of the building’s two wings. The other wing comprises three fully-let office levels, including the 1,700m² head office of VDT Attorneys, a 1,000m² regional office for Mazars, and the 500m² headquarters of Central Developments. The new gym and offices extend the existing Castle Gate Retail Centre, the first phase of the Castle Gate precinct development.

The Castle Gate mixed-use precinct development is expected to represent a total investment of R6bn and create approximately 750 permanent jobs. The development is being rolled out in response to market demand and will ultimately have 50,000m² of retail space, 50,000m² of office space, 18,000m² of mixed-use business park and 1,300 residential units set in eight hectares of protected green areas with walking and running trails.
