I am an Occupational Consultant that worked for Apex Environmental, a Consulting company which I had been employed for 3 years from 2011. I was previously employed at SGS South Africa, an Environmental Consulting company. I have worked at SGS for five years. During this time I have worked in the Administration, the Occupational Health and in the Air Quality Department, where I worked as a Consultant.

My positions entitled, Chemical Monitoring, Health Risk Assessments, Asbestos Monitoring and Illumination, Noise, Thermal Stress and Ventilation surveys I have a sound background in Occupational Health reporting. I also have a good working knowledge of the legislations and standards which is relevant to this position, including: ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001,the Occupational Health and Safety Act (No. 85 of 1993), the Environmental Health by-laws, the Practitioner laws and the Environmental laws as well as worked in the Environmental Ambient Monitoring. Where I would plan field sampling on the dust bucket, passive monitoring. Reporting on laboratory results, Communicate and liaises with clients and was the health and safety representative.

I had been promoted to Marketing and Asbestos Manger within the company.

I am currently in my third year of studying Environmental Health and am registered SAIOH and the South African Health Profession. I also have work experience with the Pietermaritzburg Council where I gained valuable experience as a Health Inspector.
My administrative experience has provided me with invaluable customer service and communications experience, which I have carried through my involvement with School Recycling Community Projects.
