EXPERIENCES
Formerly a Technical Education teacher; Departmental Head of Mathematics - Science and Technology Education; School Principal for Leaners with Special Needs; Technology Education (TE): teacher, lecturer and senior lecturer. Currently an Associate Professor at the University of South Africa (Unisa) where I have completed my doctoral study in TE focusing on Action Research (AR) methodology. Passionate about community engagement, AR and Open Distance Learning (ODL) with TE teachers. Having couple of years at the contact university - University of Limpopo (UL) and now enhancing my experience at the ODL teaching mode. As a citizen of the now democratic South Africa one has been exposed to processes resulting from post-migrant approaches such as social and political transformations, conflicts, and identity construction, as a results of the apartheid regime.
