The root of her passion lies in empowering black professionals and especially young black women. She was recognised by Ernst & Young (SA) as one of the 10 leading entrepreneurial women of 2014. Mikateko is a very dedicated, passionate and hard-working business woman. She prides herself by always treating her fellow colleagues with dignity and respect and show them her appreciation.
Mikateko became a highly successful businesswoman through her strong passion for continuous learning. She was born in Giyani in the Limpopo Province, where she received both her primary education and high school education and went on to become a registered professional Quantity Surveyor, hold a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS) and a BSc (QS) Honours from the University of Port Elizabeth. She is currently studying towards a Masters in Construction Project Management at the University of Pretoria.
