I recently got stuck overseas when COVID hit, and I could not get back to SA until recently, as I lost my job (couldn't do it from there), my house and car... everything. I am still trying to stay positive and get back on my feet as fast as possible. But, without a car, it is a challenge to find a sales position. All I am asking please is for you to please read below and have a look at my CV.
I don't need to go back into sales management, but anything to get me going again please. I am willing to relocate anywhere, and I am able to travel extensively at a moments notice.
I learnt a lot about myself when this happened, and I am a better person than before and stronger too.
As an accomplished all round Professional Sales Executive, my experience and passion for people aligns perfectly with exceeding customer expectations, and I believe I will make a valuable addition to any organization.
With more than 20 years' experience starting as a Sales Rep, to Key Account Manager, National Key Accounts and then Sales Management, I have acquired invaluable experience and talents. I am adept in prospecting, cold calling, professional relationship management, project management, marketing, market research and strategy implementation to increase market share. Moreover, while my on-the-job experience has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including first-rate negotiation and planning abilities, I excel at exceeding business objectives on a consistent basis.
Personally, I am energetic, motivated, and passionate about what I do. Raised old school, values like integrity, honesty and discipline are very well instilled in me. I do not consider myself a salesperson, as I do not just 'sell' to my clients to make my target. My approach is to do a little research on their company - who they are, where they are going - their values etc, then I speak with a few different departments to find out if they are having any current issues. With all this information, I put together an actual solution for them which benefits the organisation. I find that gaining sales in this manner ensures longevity of the account and customer loyalty.
