I have nine years' experience working in a nongovernmental organisation that implements Social and behaviour change Communication (SBCC) projects. I have a Master of Public health (SBCC) from the University of Witwatersrand. Through my work experience and qualitative research background, I have acquired the right experience for the job applied for.
I have managed various SBCC projects including a Key population's project focusing on Female sex workers which is funded by the Global Fund. I have also managed several youth and adolescent health projects funded by UNICEF, GIZ and NAC. Through most of these projects, I have acquired valuable skills and experience in designing and planning SBCC interventions, Public health communication, Project management, writing concept notes and proposals, monitoring, evaluation and project management which I know will be of value to your organisation and more specifically to the position applied for.
In addition to this experience, I have also gained considerable skills in managing donors, stakeholders and private sector partners. Furthermore, I have very good skills with Microsoft Office packages.
