o Part of the integration team set up to merge the acquired businesses into one legal entity;
o Developed a centralized Customer Service Centre and warehouse management model for Litha Medical and the cold chain vaccines business;
o Implemented improved processes and procedures to ensure appropriate workflows for the warehouses and customer service department;
o Developed and introduced cost saving initiatives that were realized as a result of the integration of the merged businesses;
o Developed and implemented Service Level Agreements ( SLA's) between the Shared Services department and Litha Medical, and with the Biovac Institute ( Litha Vaccines );
o Managed and chaired the Environmental, Health & Safety Committee and ensured on-site implementation, induction training and compliance;

o Developed, managed and controlled the annual operational budget of R30M;

Business Unit Head for Manta Medical a division of Litha Medical ( Pty ) Ltd;
o Increased market share of business and developed new wound care product portfolio;
o Managed the transition and integration of the acquired medical device businesses into Litha Medical, leading the integration project and co-ordinating a phased two year project plan.
Managing Director for Manta Medical after the company was acquired by Myriad Medical and the previous owners exited the business :
o Involved in providing information, data and audit requirements for the due diligence that was carried out by Myriad Medical;
o Doubled turnover of Manta Medical and achieved over 40% above budgeted PBIT for the year ending May 2009 ;
o Developed new business and managed supplier and customer relationships; ensured that relationships with key opinion leaders and hospital groups were maintained;
o Grew State Tender business and won a major medical device tender.
Financial Director for Manta Management Services. Responsible for the financial management of all companies within the group , managing the supply chain , warehouse operations, HR function ( hiring and dismissal, including handling any CCMA cases) , salary and commissions preparation , payroll processing, management of the Group Pension Fund and Medical Scheme and ensuring that regular performance reviews were completed for all employees.
