I hold a Degree in Bachelor of Science: Majored in Statistics and Geography and currently studying towards a Bachelor of Science Honours in Statistics through the University of South Africa. I am a highly motivated individual who has an in-depth knowledge and experience in the Education and Training environment, working with large relational databases and spreadsheets.

I am currently working as a Verifications Project Admin Officer (Batch Distribution Team leader) within the Verifications Project since November 2014. My main duties include processing verifications, ensuring data quality, training new staff, supervising Batch Distribution Team and attending to client queries.

Before joining South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA), I was employed by the National Research Foundation as a Data Analyst where my duties included liaising with stakeholders, extracting data, analysing data, generating annual reports statistics and sourcing technical advisors as per set standards.

Whilst working for the SAQA, I have acquired considerable experience in attending to standard client queries received via phone or email. In accordance with processes, procedures and escalating non-standard queries to the Verifications Coordinator. Teamwork, effective management of staff, customer service, attention to detail, interpersonal communication, administrative skills and advanced computer literacy skills are among my best characteristics as well as good problem solving abilities.

In addition, I have knowledge and understanding of the NQF act, higher education and training systems in South Africa as well as protocols in dealing with Government and other Educational Institutions.
