Gabon to host ICT Regulators' Symposium in June

The three-day meeting, scheduled for June 9 - 11, will take place at the country's capital Libreville and has been organized by the Government of Gabon.
The meeting is expected to draw world-class speakers with a dynamic programme focused around the hot topics challenging today's ICT regulators. It will be chaired by Mr Lin Mombo, President of the Autorité de Régulation des communications Electroniques et des Postes (ARCEP), and hosted under the Patronage of H.E. Mr Ali Bongo Ondimba, President of the Republic of Gabon.
ARCEP is an independent French agency in charge of regulating telecommunications in France and has the same mandate and structure as the US' Federal Communications Commission (FCC). It has its head office in 7 Square Max Hymans in Montparnasse, Paris, France.
