Giant hands lift new Vietnamese floating bridge
Called the Da Nang Golden Bridge, it provides an infinite view of the mountainous landscape.
The bridge is suspended 1,400m above sea level, including eight spans at a length of nearly 150m long. Lobelia Chrysanthemum is also planted along the pathway on the bridge, creating a focal point of colour, attracting the eyes of visitors.
Reportedly, the bridge is part of a $2bn project to accommodate tourists in the area. Ba Na Hills is a hill station and resort, established by French colonists in 1919. It is close to the city of Da Nang and once held 200 villas, but today, only a few ruins remain in the area. Ba Na Hills now houses a Fantasy Park and a ‘French village’ with cobbled streets.
