Hisense celebrates Chinese New Year
Hisense hosted its annual Golf Day at the Milnerton Golf Club on Friday, 7 February 2014, in celebration of the Chinese New Year. The event consisted of an entertaining day spent on the course, followed by a grand dinner and prize giving ceremony. All golf delegates registered on arrival, and thereafter fell part of a jam packed day of the popular sport.
Delegates got the chance to celebrate the start of the Chinese New Year with important members of the community, two of them being the Chinese Deputy Consul General Libei Li and Deputy General Manager of Hisense South Africa, Ebrahim Khan. The important Chinese celebration signifies family and the coming together of communities.
Li made a speech about Chinese culture and the relationship that China has developed with South Africa by investing in the country.
"Since Hisense has been brought to South Africa, we have seen massive growth opportunities for the brand. If the relationship continues to grow, we can only expect great things in the near future", Li commented.
Khan went on to say, "From when Hisense first entered the market until now, there has been constant growth across all categories of the brand. I am proud at what Hisense has achieved in the country in such a short time, and look forward to see what 2014 brings."
