Hansa Festival tour winners
Following over 93 000 entries to the Hansa World Festival Tour competition, five winners were announced at Summer Place in Hyde Park late last month. Based on the brand's ‘Stepping out of the Ordinary' campaign, the tour provides the winners and their partners with a once in a lifetime experience at renowned festivals around the world.

The winners are:
- New Orleans Jazz Festival, US: Matsimele Mello (Johannesburg, Gauteng)
- Oktoberfest, Germany: William Serame (Pretoria, Gauteng)
- Chinese New Year, Hong Kong: Alfred Sekese (Western Cape)
- Rio Carnival, Brazil: Vumile Somizi (KwaZulu-Natal)
- Festival of Fire, Spain: France Phiri (North West)
Violet Midzi, executive brand manager of Hansa Pilsener, said the tour is a fitting finale to a campaign meant to take consumers out of their comfort zones. The festivals were chosen for their status as some of the most sought after travel experiences. “We are certain that our winners will come back with rich stories of an experience of a lifetime and we at Hansa are excited that we have made it possible,” added Midzi.
